The Mouse Deer and The Peacock

On a sunny afternoon, Si Kancil was resting sleeping under a shady tree. Apparently after Si Kancil stole Pak Tani's cucumber, his stomach was full. From a distance, a peacock appears to be coming to Si Kancil, flapping its wings. The Peacock Chicken came with a large, beautiful tail and a beautiful color. The hare was not happy with the presence of the peacock. Forest people know Peacock as an arrogant bird. The Peacock Chicken was very happy to show off his beautiful tail to the forest people.
The Mouse Deer and The Peacock

"Hi Mouse Deer, you look at my beautiful tail. Aren't you amazed by its beauty. " said the peacock arrogantly while occasionally wagging its tail to be noticed.

"Ah no. Your tail is normal. It's no different from the tails of other chickens. " replied the hare indifferently.

“Do not be careless you Mouse Deer, all my friends in the forest admire my beautiful tail. You just don't want to admit it Mouse Deer. " said The Peacock Chicken with a little bit of annoyance because the hare was underestimated.

The hare began to feel disturbed by the chatty peacock. “Yes, yes, yes, your tail is very big & very beautiful, peacock. All forest dwellers admit it. But I advise you to be careful, O Peacock, because yesterday afternoon many hunters passed around here looking for a peacock with a beautiful tail to be cut and then sold. " said the hare.

“Don't joke, you Mouse Deer! Where do hunters want a peacock. " said the peacock, getting nervous.

“Humans want your beautiful tail to be made into jewelry, O Peacock! Your tail price is expensive !. You'd better run and hide into the forest so that humans can't find you. " said the hare.

Hearing the words of the hare, the arrogant peacock chicken immediately ran back and forth leaving the hare. He ran quickly into the forest so that the hunters could not find him.

Seeing the arrogant Peacock Chicken running scamperingly, the mouse deer laughed so hard it rolled on the ground. The hare finally able to continue his afternoon break without the Peacock Chicken.
