The capital city of Central Kalimantan is Palangkaraya. Its motto is Isen Mulang, which means "Never Give Up."

Long, long ago, there was a kingdom on Mintin Island, in the Lower Kahayan region of Central Kalimantan. It was a happy and peaceful kingdom, and its people lived in prosperity. Do you know why? It was because the kingdom was ruled by a king who was both fair and wise.
Once upon a time, deep in the lush tropical heartland of Central Kalimantan, the mighty Katingan River flowed smoothly through ancient green forests. Along the banks of this roaring river lay a small, peaceful village nestled right in the middle of a rushing waterfall known as Riam Mangkikit.
