The following is a collection of folklore, fairy tales, and legends that exist in the midst of the Betawi people of DKI Jakarta Province.
DKI Jakarta Province is located on the northwest coast of Java Island, bordering Banten Province and West Java Province.

One time, Prince Sarif was walking towards Bendungan Village, he passed the Pasar Minggu area. The drizzle also approached Prince Syarif's journey when he arrived at the Ciliwung river. On the way, he saw a boat moving towards the city. Prince Syarif felt something strange with the owner of the boat.
4. Si Jampang
Jampang is a man who was born during the Dutch colonial period. Jampang actually defended the weak and oppressed by the Dutch colonialism, one of which was by stealing the property of the rich who usually supported the Dutch.
During the Dutch colonial period, there lived a young man named Murtado. This handsome and mighty young man lives in the Kemayoran area. Despite having high silat knowledge, Murtado was reluctant to become an employee or accomplice of the Dutch East Indies government.
In ancient times, when Jakarta was still called Batavia and was still colonized by the Dutch, there was a robbery at Babah Yong's house. Babah Yong is a descendant of the very rich Chinese ethnic group in the Kemayoran area. The robbery incident caused an uproar for the people of Kemayoran. This incident was finally handled by the authorities.
In Setu Babakan, it is said that there is a figure of a white crocodile who is always loyal to the lake. The white crocodile was finally known as the guardian of Setu Babakan and its presence had become a conversation among the public.
