"Where is daddy now, Bundo? Why haven't you gone home yet? " Malin asked his mother.
"Your father is wandering, making a living for our lives. Be patient, child. " answered his mother.

He was worried that his son would disappear overseas and not return as happened to his father. "Alright my child. If that is your wish, Bundo cannot refuse it. Bundo will always pray for you, son, so that your goals are quickly achieved. And promise Malin, if you have succeeded overseas, return home. Never forget Bundo. "

Malin Kundang actually knew for sure that the poor old woman who was holding her was her biological mother, Mande Rubayah. But he was overwhelmed with extreme shame because his mother looked very poor in shabby clothes. He is ashamed of his wife and his men for having a poor mother.
"What did you say Malin? You don't know your own mother, son? I'm Mande Rubayah, your biological mother Malin. Bundo believes You are Malin, the son of Bundo. In your right hand is Malin's wound. " Mande Rubayah was very surprised by her son's attitude.
"Sis, pay close attention to whether the old lady is your biological mother. Don't just chase away roughly like that. " Malin's wife reminded her husband.
"She is not my biological mother. He was just an old beggar claiming to be my mother because I was a wealthy merchant. My biological mother died long ago when I was little. Go thou meget away from my ship! Go far away! " Malin shouted while pushing his biological mother to fall.

Not long after Malin returned to his luxury merchant ship. He ordered his men to go from Air Manis Beach. At that time the sky was clear and the wind was gentle. The merchant ship slowly left the Air Manis Beach. But soon a strange thing happened. A hurricane came suddenly and struck Malin's merchant ship. So intense was the storm and the magnitude of the waves at sea, Malin's ship was smashed to pieces in an instant.
