According to folklore, there was a king who ruled in Kampung Dalam, Pariaman, West Sumatra today. The King has three children from different mothers namely Sutan Lembak Tuah, Sutan Pangaduan and Puti Sari Makah. Mrs. Sutan Lembak Tuah comes from ordinary circles, Mrs. Sutan Pangaduan named Puti Andam Dewi who is a royal lineage, while Puti Sari Makah's mother is an Arab descendant. So traditionally, Sutan Pangaduan is the legitimate son of the Crown Prince because his mother, Puti Andam Dewi, is still of royal descent.
The King decided to stay in Mount Ledang when his children were still small. After the death of his father, Sutan Pangaduan's mother, Puti Andam Dewi, was attempted to be edited by Rajo Unggeh Layang, a ruling king in the country of Taluak Singalai Tabang Papan. Puti Andam Dewi refused Rajo Unggeh Layang's proposal. As a result, Rajo Unggeh Layang was angry and kidnapped Puti Andam Dewi and took her to a hill.
Meanwhile Sutan Lembak Tuah as the eldest son, was appointed king instead of his father, even though at that time Sutan Lembak Tuah was still a child. The nature of Sutan Lembak Tuah itself tends to be spoiled and childish. Later when in power he will act arbitrarily towards his people. Even though Sutan Pangaduan was a legitimate crown prince, Sutan Lembak Tuah's mother was very ambitious so that her son would become king. He sought all means so that the goal is achieved. Sutan Pangaduan who was still small was then taken and cared for by his grandmother and cousin. His cousin (from the mother's side) is a warrior in Kuala Pantai Cermin.
Growing up under the care of his grandmother and cousin, Sutan Pangaduan grew up to be a wise and agile child. He excelled in terms of mysticism, magic and wisdom. When he was 10 years old Sutan Pangaduan was visited by his father who lived in Mount Ledang inwardly. His father gave the task to Sutan Pangaduan to free his mother from the captivity of Rajo Unggeh Layang. In carrying out this task, his father requested that he cooperate with his brother Sutan Lembak Tuah who lived in the palace.
Meet Sutan Lembak Tuah
So Sutan Pangaduan went from Kuala Pantai Cermin to the palace in Kampung Dalam, Pariaman to meet his brother Sutan Lembak Tuah. His grandmother and cousin provided Sutan Pangaduan with sacred weapons. On the way, the nobleman's clothes worn by Sutan Pangaduan attracted a con artist. When Sutan Pangaduan was picking a sprig of flowers, the swindler approached him and boasted that the flower was a prohibited flower flower for picking. As punishment, Sutan had to exchange his royal clothes for the tattered clothes of the fraudster. With the innocence of Sutan Pangaduan just follow the request of the fraudster.
Sutan Pangaduan continued his journey to Kampung Dalam in tattered clothes. Finally arrived at Sutan Pangaduan in the palace of Kampung Dalam, Pariaman. Sutan Lembak Tuah was very surprised to see a tattered child with a face very similar to him, coming to the palace. Because he had not met since he was a child, Sutan Lembak Tuah forgot the face of Sutan Pangaduan, his own brother. But Sutan Lembak Tuah's mother realized that the small child in front of her was Sutan Pangaduan.
Worried that his son's throne was threatened, he then ordered Sutan Lembak Tuah to drive out Sutan Pangaduan. Finally there was a fight between the two. However, Sutan Pangaduan easily defeated Sutan Lembak Tuah. At that moment, Sutan PangANCan said the keywords taught by his father when he came to him mentally. Hearing these keywords, realize Sutan Lembak Tuah that the child before him is his own brother. Because his father visited Sutan Lembak Tuah inwardly that Sutan Pangaduan would come to him by saying the keyword.
The duty of Father to free Mother
Finally, Sutan Lembak Tuah asked his mother for permission to accompany Sutan Pangaduan in order to free Puti Andam Dewi from the captive Rajo Unggeh Layang. With a heavy heart finally his mother allowed his son to go with Sutan Pangaduan to fight Rajo Unggeh Layang because it was his father's orders on Mount Ledang.
But it turns out that Sutan Lembak Tuah's mother secretly had an evil plan to poison Sutan Pangaduan so that the office of her son's king would not be interrupted. But the plan was revealed which earned him a sentence of imprisonment in the palace. Even though he felt sad about his mother's condition, Sutan Lembah Tuah still went to accompany Sutan Pangaduan to fight Rajo Unggeh Layang.
The Fight with Rajo Unggeh Layang
Upon arriving at the hill where Puti Andam Dewi was taken prisoner, the two princes got into a fierce fight with thousands of hill guards. Because the number of guards Rajo Unggeh Layang was too much, finally the two brothers were successfully arrested by the enemy.
Sutan Pangaduan's father knowsknow that his two sons were defeated by Rajo Unggeh Layang. Finally he went to his daughter, Puti Sari Makah, inwardly and told her to help her siblings.
Puti Sari Makah immediately asked for help from Sutan Pangintan's cousin and Sutan Lembak Tuah from her father's sultan's cousin from Puti Andam Dewi. The three of them went to the hill where Puti Andam Dewi was taken prisoner. All three are very powerful female warriors. Putri Sari Makah has the ability to control water while the two cousins of Sutan Pangaduan each have the ability to control wind and sound.
With a combination of their respective expertise, they succeeded in creating a storm that raised sea water up the hill so that it swept the guards of Rajo Unggeh. Finally the three of them freed Puti Andam Dewi and their two siblings, Sutan Pangaduan and Sutan Lembak Tuah, easily.
The Cheat of the Little Girl
Is a little girl hypnotizing Sutan Pangaduan. The little girl asked Sutan to bring herself along with the excuse of being swept away by the storm. Sutan's two brothers forbade him to bring the little girl because they knew that the little girl was the younger brother of Rajo Unggeh Layang. But Sutan Pangaduan did not listen to the advice of his two older brothers while still taking the little girl along.
Because they have managed to save Puti Andam Dewi, they finally split up. Sutan Pangaduan, his cousin and mother, returned to Kampung Dalam. Sutan Lembak Tuah returned to the kingdom of Kampung Dalam, Pariaman. While Puti Sari Makah returned to Makkah.
Long story short, Sutan Pangaduan had grown up and married the daughter of the king of a neighboring country. Sutan was later appointed king in the country. Without realizing it, the little girl he had saved, evidently had been poisoning him little by little so that his powers slowly diminished. For the little girl's deception, Puti Andam Dewi was kidnapped again by Rajo Unggeh Layang.

With the level of supernatural powers that have been reduced and the condition of his wife who was pregnant, Sutan Pangulat forced to leave his wife and the kingdom to save his mother. Sutan's wife gave up her husband to leave to save her mother-in-law.
So Sutan Pangaduan went with his brother Sutan Lembak Tuah to the land of Taluak Singalai Tabang Papan. However, because the power of Sutan Pangaduan had diminished, the two brothers could easily be paralyzed by the enemy. Both were eventually taken prisoner by being chained by the enemy.
With the remnants of his supernatural powers, on a bright full moon night, Sutan Pangaduan stomped his foot to break the chains that bound him. Although the chain did not break, the sound of the foot pounding thundered like lightning and sounded far away. The shock is a sign that Sutan Pangaduan's child has been born into the world. Later Sutan Pangaduan's son would demand revenge to free his father and grandmother.
