Once upon a time in the District of Pauh, Padang, West Sumatra, there was a small kingdom called the Kingdom of Bukit Perasapan, led by Raja Tuo. The kingdom of Bukit Perasapan is located at the foot of Perasapan Hill, inland Nagari Pauh Limo.
King Tuo has a very beautiful daughter named Wayang Lenggogeni. Besides being smart, Putri Lenggogeni is also known to be intelligent. Putri Lenggogeni often gives input to her father when oppressed by problems related to the kingdom or the people. Many men fall in love with Princess Lenggogeni but do not dare to propose because they realize that the princess only wants to accept the application of the Crown Prince.
Incidentally at that time, Mr. Hendrik, a wealthy merchant from Rupit, was trading in the Portuguese hill Perasapan. Two of Mr. Hendrik's men, Rajo Anggang & Magek Pumpkin, heard the beauty of Princess Lenggogeni. The two of them then went to Mirror Island to meet Mr. Hendrik to deliver the news about Princess Lenggogeni to Mr. Hendrik.
"Dear Mr. Hendrik, there is a very beautiful and smart princess in the Kingdom of Bukit Perasapan that we just visited. Her name is Lenggogeni, daughter of King Tuo. May Mr. Hendrik deign to propose to Princess Lenggogeni ". Said Rajo Anggang.
"Is it true ?" said Mr. Hendrik. "Alright I'll propose to her." said Mr. Hendrik again after thinking a little long.
"If so, then Mr. Hendrik should pretend to be the crown prince because Princess Lenggogeni is a crown princess. A crown princess only accepts applications from the royal crown prince. " said Rajo Anggang.
Mr. Hendrik Wants to Propose to Princess Lenggogeni
Mr. Hendrik agreed with the advice of his two subordinates. They immediately prepared to go to the Kingdom of Perasapan to propose to Princess Lenggogeni. Arriving at the Kingdom of Perasapan, they met King Tuo with a chest filled with gold jewelry.

"Your Majesty, I swear that I am the crown prince of the Portuguese Kingdom. If I lie, then my ship and its contents will sink, be smashed by the waves and then become stone. " said Mr. Hendrik lying again.

This situation made Mr. Hendrik very happy because he felt that he would succeed in proposing the very beautiful Princess Lenggogeni. He immediately went back to the Kingdom of Perasapan, meeting with King Tuo to ask for an answer to his proposal.
On the way, suddenly the sky turned very dark. The wind blew very hard interspersed with lightning striking after turns. A very large wave suddenly hit Mr Hendrik's ship until it finally sank in Bukit Koto Nan Tinggi. Not long after, Mr Hendrik's ship and its contents turned to stone. A lie is broken for. Mr. Hendrik received the consequences of his own oath.
