The king's plan made his concubines and children from the concubines feel jealous. Therefore, they conspired to expel Princess Kandita and the empress from the palace of Pakuan.

Until finally one day, concubines King Siliwangi and their sons and daughters held a secret meeting to get rid of Princess Kandita. After holding the conversation, they finally agreed to hire a black magician to bewitch Princess Kandita and her mother. They then sent a court lady to see a black magician in a hut in the middle of the forest, quite far from the Pakuan palace.

The court lady immediately went to the house of the black magician. After explaining the purpose of his arrival, the court lady then handed over a number of gold coins to the shaman. Without thinking, the shaman immediately agreed to the evil requests of the concubines.

After the court lady returned to the Pakuan palace, the shaman immediately carried out his duties. With his black magic, the shaman conjured Putri Kandita and her mother with leprosy so that their bodies that were originally smooth and clean, developed ulcerated wounds and gave off an unpleasant odor.

The leprosy that befell Princess Kandita and the queen's mother caused an uproar in the palace. King Siliwangi ordered the doctors to heal them both. But no physician can treat them. The ulcers made the empress's body weak, until finally the empress breathed her last. This incident made Putri Kandita and Prabu Siliwangi very sad.
