Once upon a time there lived a boy in England named Jack. He lives with his mother in a village. Their lives are very poor. Until one day they were forced to sell Jack's favorite cow to buy wheat. That day Jack went to the market to sell cows while leading his favorite cow.
Not yet arrived at the market, in the middle of the road Jack met an old man. The old man brought a bean.
"My son, would you trade your cow for my magical bean? I live in the next village. In my village not much food is available. Help us my son. " the old man said to Jack.
"Alright sir. Take my cow. Give food to the villagers. " said Jack.
Jack felt sorry for the old man, as well as the neighboring villagers. He was willing to exchange his cow for a nut belonging to the old man. After arriving home, Jack told his mother about the cow. Of course Jack's mother was furious. Furious, Jack's mother then threw the beans out of the house.
Suddenly a miracle happened. In a short time, bean seeds grow into bean trees. In a short time the trunk of the bean tree has reached the sky. Seeing this, Jack was afraid that his mother would become even more angry. Fearful of being scolded by his mother, Jack immediately climbs the magic bean tree until it reaches the clouds. There Jack saw a very beautiful palace.
"You must be lost, little child." suddenly there was a female giant chiding Jack.
Although the giant body, but Jack felt that the giant was kind. The female giant invites Jack into the palace. She also gave Jack food. After Jack finished eating, the female giant asked Jack to quickly leave her place of residence.
"You better leave this place quickly. Soon my husband will go home. He is an evil giant. I'm afraid my husband will eat you. " said the female giant.
Sure enough, finished female giant talking, her husband came home. Jack immediately hid under the dining table. The female giant signals Jack to patiently wait until her husband falls asleep. After her husband fell asleep, the female giant gave Jack a bag of gold coins & told her to leave immediately.
"Go home now while my husband is sleeping. This is a bag of gold coins for you so that you and your mother can live well. After arriving at your house, cut down this bean tree. " message the female giant.
After saying thanks, Jack immediately went home down the bean tree. But apparently a male giant woke up because he smelled human odor. The giant chased Jack quickly down the bean tree.
But unfortunately, the male giant's body is too heavy to cause the bean tree to collapse. The body of the giant fell into the sea.
Fortunately Jack has arrived at his house. Jack immediately told his experience to his mother. With a bag of gold given by a giant woman, Jack and his mother can now live well.
