Chapter 1: The Long-Awaited Prince

Long, long ago, nestled deep in the emerald valleys, stood the magnificent Kingdom of Alas. A kind and wise king ruled the land alongside his gentle empress. Though their kingdom was peaceful and rich, a quiet sadness echoed in the grand halls of the palace—they had no children to inherit the throne. Day and night, they whispered their hopes to the stars, praying for a little prince or princess.

One crisp morning, the empress felt terribly weak and dizzy. The worried king quickly summoned the wisest palace healer. After a careful check-up, a wide, bright smile bloomed on the healer's face.

Palace Healer: "Congratulations, Your Majesty! The empress is going to have a baby!"

The king's eyes sparkled like morning dew. He rushed to his beloved wife, taking her hands gently in his.

The King: "My dearest wife, we are going to have a child! My heart is bursting with joy. Our kingdom will finally have a crown prince to carry on our legacy."

The whole kingdom celebrated for days, singing and dancing in the streets. Nine months later, a beautiful, healthy baby boy with soft skin and thick hair was born. They named him Prince Amat Mude. He grew into a clever and cheerful boy, filling the palace with laughter. But sadly, when Prince Amat Mude was just ten years old, a heavy sorrow blanketed the kingdom. The beloved king fell very ill and passed away.

Chapter 2: The Wicked Uncle

The kingdom wept for their great leader. Because Prince Amat Mude was still too small to wear the heavy golden crown, the empress asked the king’s younger brother to step in and rule temporarily.

The Empress: "Please, look after the kingdom and its people until my son is old enough to sit on the throne."

The Uncle: "Do not worry, my queen. I will guard this kingdom with my life."

At first, the uncle seemed happy to help. But as the years rolled by, the glittering crown made his heart grow cold and greedy. He wanted to be the real king forever. Slowly, he pushed the empress and the young prince away, forcing them to move into a tiny, dusty room behind the palace. Finally, a truly wicked idea sprouted in his mind. He called his royal guards in secret.

The Uncle: "My loyal guards, I command you to take Prince Amat Mude and his mother deep into the wild forest. Leave them there so the hungry tigers can gobble them up!"

The Guard: "But... how can we do such a terrible thing, Your Majesty? He is the true crown prince of Alas!"

The Uncle: "Silence! I am the king now! If you do not do as I say, I will lock you in the dungeon forever!"

With heavy hearts, the guards led the empress and the young prince far away, leaving them completely alone in the deep, dark woods.

Chapter 3: The Magical Golden Fish

Life in the forest was tough, but Prince Amat Mude was a brave and hardworking boy. He never complained. Instead, he gathered sweet wild berries to keep his mother fed. One sunny afternoon, while exploring, he stumbled upon a crystal-clear river swimming with plump fish. Using a sharpened twig, the clever prince caught several fish and happily carried them back to their little wooden shelter.

Prince Amat Mude: "Look, Mother! I brought these fish for our dinner. I caught them all by myself in the forest river!"

The Empress: "Oh, what a wonderful blessing! Let us clean them and cook a warm, delicious meal."

As the empress carefully cleaned the fish, she felt something hard hidden inside one of their bellies. She peeked inside and gasped in shock. A shiny, solid grain of gold fell into her hands! She checked the other fish, and to her absolute amazement, every single one had gold resting inside.

The Empress: "My son, look quickly! There is bright, shining gold inside these fish!"

Prince Amat Mude: "Wow! We found a treasure, Mother!"

They traded the golden grains in a faraway village for a cozy house, warm clothes, and plenty of food. Every time the prince went fishing, they found more gold. Soon, they became very wealthy. But Prince Amat Mude and his mother never grew arrogant. Instead, they shared their food and gold with anyone who was poor, sick, or hungry.

Chapter 4: The Impossible Quest

News of a generous family living near the forest soon reached the wicked uncle. He was shocked to realize they were still alive! Fearing he would lose his precious crown, he invited them back to the palace to set a clever, dangerous trap.

The Uncle: "Prince Amat Mude, you have grown into a fine young man. It is almost time for you to be king. But first, you must prove your bravery. Fetch me the magical ivory coconut from the tiny island in the middle of the Great Ocean. Bring it here, and the crown is yours!"

Prince Amat Mude: "I accept your challenge, Uncle! I will find it."

The uncle smiled a wicked, shadowy smile, knowing the ocean was guarded by terrifying, hungry sea monsters.

The young prince built a small boat and sailed across the roaring waves, praying for safety. Suddenly, the water bubbled and churned. Three massive, scary beasts rose from the deep—a giant fish, a snapping crocodile, and a huge, scaly dragon!

The Giant Fish: "Halt, little human! How dare you sail into our waters? What is your name?!"

Prince Amat Mude: "P-please don't hurt me! I am Prince Amat Mude."

The Crocodile: "Prince Amat Mude? Wait... does that mean you are the son of the great King of Alas?"

Prince Amat Mude: "Yes, that is right. I am trying to find the ivory coconut."

The fearsome beasts looked at each other and suddenly burst into booming, friendly laughter.

The Dragon: "Ha ha ha! Your father was our dearest friend. He was a wise man, kind to all creatures, big and small. You may pass safely to the island, little prince. Here, take this magic ring. It will grant your wishes and help you on your journey."

Chapter 5: The True King Returns

The prince thanked the friendly sea monsters and sailed to the island. In the very center stood an ivory coconut tree so incredibly tall its leaves brushed the passing clouds. It looked impossible to climb. But with a single wish on the dragon's magic ring, the prince leaped up gracefully, plucked the glowing ivory coconut, and returned safely to the palace.

When the uncle saw the young prince standing in the throne room holding the prize, his jaw dropped to the floor.

The Uncle: "You... you actually did it. Because you have kept your promise, I must keep mine. The kingdom rightfully belongs to you."

Prince Amat Mude was finally crowned the true King of Alas Country. Even though his uncle had been cruel and tried to harm him, the young king's heart was full of forgiveness. He kindly allowed his uncle to stay in the palace. However, the uncle felt so terribly ashamed of his wicked actions that he chose to leave the royal life behind and live quietly as a commoner. The young king ruled with a kind, patient, and generous heart, proving to everyone in the land that staying true, brave, and forgiving will always guide you to your rightful destiny.
