Once upon a time, there lived a woman named Nini Kudampai. He had a son named Angui. They both have a pet like white chicken, white dog, and white pig. There lived a wealthy merchant named Keling. The merchant intends to make Angui as a foster child and take him to his country.
Nini Kudampai objected because Angui is her only child, but eventually he allowed Angui brought by merchants Keling.
Finally merchant Keling bring Angui to his country. Merchant Keling dote Angui. Every day he indulged Angui. Because spoiled, Angui gradually turns into a lazy man. Angui always refused if Keling merchant asked for his help. Because he was irritated by Angui's lazy nature, Keling merchant finally expelled Angui from his home.
With so forced, Angui leave Keling merchant home, his adoptive parents. He then worked odd jobs to support himself. With hard work, in a few years Angui has managed to become a wealthy merchant. Angui wealth has exceeded even the riches of Keling merchant.
With his success, Angui could finally marry the daughter of the Sultan. Thus, of course richness Angui be increased. Once when Angui decided to return to his hometown. He came home use his large and luxurious vessels. Arriving at the village, Nini Kudampai, Angui's mother immediately rushed to his son.
Nini Kudampai already miss him. It has been years Nini Kudampai very worried about the fate of his son. He now feels happy to see his son has managed to become a wealthy merchant.
Unfortunately, Angui feel embarrassed to see his mother for the poor and elderly. Angui not want to recognize his mother. And to convince his son, Nini Kudampai bring their pets that are white pig, white dog, and white chicken.
But because Angui feel embarrassed, Angui still refused to admit her mother. He then ordered his men to repel Nini Kudampai.
Feel sad and hurt, Nini Kudampai then condemned Angui and his ship into the mountain. After Nini Kudampai utter a curse, suddenly occurred strangeness, Anguis's ship and all its contents turned into a mount. Now people know the mountain as Mount Batu Hapu.
Mount Batu Hapu is an Indonesian folklore.
