Chapter 1: The Boy and the Empty River
Once upon a time, in the lush and beautiful lands of Southeast Sulawesi, there lived a kind-hearted young boy named La Moelu. Sadly, La Moelu was an orphan who had lost his mother when he was just a little baby. He lived in a small, humble wooden hut with his elderly father. Because his father was very old and weak, he could no longer work in the fields. Therefore, little La Moelu took it upon himself to provide for them. Every single day, to meet their daily needs, he went fishing in the sparkling river near their house.
Chapter 1: The Dark Shadow Over Sorume
Once upon a time, in the beautiful and peaceful land of Sorume—which we now call Kolaka, in Southeast Sulawesi—the sun always shone brightly, and the villagers lived happily. But one day, the sky suddenly turned dark. A giant eagle, known as the terrible Kongga or Garuda, swooped down from the clouds!
Chapter 1: An Unfair Friendship
Once upon a time, deep in the lush green forests of Southeast Sulawesi, a mischievous monkey and a kind-hearted chicken lived as neighbors. Though they were called friends, the monkey was far from friendly. He was selfish, greedy, and loved nothing more than playing mean tricks on the poor, innocent bird.
