"Sir, I am willing to be a sacrifice for the safety of shipping, you and the crew," said Simheong.
"Well then, what conditions are you asking as a wage?" asked the merchant.
"I asked for 300 sacks of rice. You have to send 300 sacks of rice to my father's house before you go sailing,” explained Simcheong.
"Okay, I agree," said the merchant.
The merchant finally ordered his men to deliver 300 sacks of rice to Simcheong's house.
Simcheong also sailed with the merchant and his crew. During the trip, Simcheong kept praying to God that her father would always be healthy and safe. Because she could no longer accompany her father.
Simcheong was finally thrown into the sea which was considered a dangerous area. She had become a victim on the voyage. Simcheong kept praying to God.
When Simcheong was thrown into the sea, she didn't die. Simcheong is shocked, because she can see the beautiful scenery on the seabed. She can dive easily without feeling afraid. This was unexpected for Simcheong.
Simcheong finally meets a creature with a crown. This figure finally explains why Simcheong didn't die.
"I am the king of the sea. I save you because you have been devoted to your parents,” explained the sea king, smiling at Simcheong.
"Thank you sea king. You saved my life. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Simcheong.
"Of course, what is your wish, good girl?" asked the king of the sea.
"Can you return me to my father? My father is old and sickly,” asked Simcheong.
"Sure you can, now close your eyes!" command the king of the sea.
Simcheong finally closed her eyes. She hopes to return home safely.
Simcheong ends up stranded on a beach. Half unconscious, Simcheong looked around the beach. A large crowd of people approached Simcheong. They saw Simcheong lying helplessly on the shore. At the same time, a prince was visiting the village on the beach. The prince also saw Simcheong who was stranded on the beach. He orders his guards to take Simcheong to the palace. Simcheong will be treated there.
After Simcheong was treated for several days at the palace, Simcheong's condition has been healthy. She then told her past to the prince.
